It’s early days for VR sex still, but it’s surprising how little gay VR porn content has been released. Reddit user Ascii_Yo decided to take things into their own hands with this prison scene, depicting rape in the communal showers. Entitled “You shouldn’t have dropped the soap”, you can find a download link from Mega in this Reddit thread.

The scale seems to be a bit off both for yourself and the guy raping you, but I’m sure that’s an easy fix. Unfortunately, the developer’s harddrive apparently crashed and they’re now working on something else: bigger, and better, no doubt.

Press 1 and 2 to switch POV, though the receiving end is definitely better.

If this is the kind of thing you’d like to see more of, do the developer a favour and just let them know that you appreciate the efforts. The community is small enough as it is, and it’s these kind of experiences that will help us to move forward and expand. Personally, I’d like to see more female POV content: it’s obviously possible to add a quick toggle into basic fixed camera demos that switch between playing as either the guy or the girl.

Perhaps the wider question here is: how do you feel about a VR experience that depicts rape?

Custom Maid 3D Oculus Rift Patch Available For All *

Around this time last year we reported on the first decent hentai game to receive the Rift treatment – Custom Maid 3D. Unfortunately, the game was entirely in Japanese, only available within Japan or through outrageously expensive import channels, and only if you purchased the additional hardware (a penis controller, now discontinued and hence even more expensive than it was on import the first time around).

Now, a kindly soul has seen it to it that the files are patched with English dialog, Oculus Rift mode enabled without the additional hardware, and available for anyone to download through the joy of torrents (scroll down for the links).

Now that we’ve had a chance to play it, here’s the deal: your uncle owns a hostess club, and he’s given you a maid to play with and train as you wish (she’s actually a childhood friend who had a secret crush, so she’s been keeping herself chaste for you). The game has 4 basic modes. First, a design and cosplay area where you can change outfits and attributes like hair or eyes. Second is the dance stage – the basic game includes 4 songs that your customized girl will dance to. Third is conversation mode, where your dialog choices can affect the skills or locations available to you in the fourth mode – the playroom – you’ll need to this mode to unlock areas. The playroom is the core of the game where the real action happens. Before each scene, you create a play menu from the catalogue of currently available positions. Once you’ve made your selection, you hit play, and the scene begins. There’s a limited amount of interaction during the scenes, essentially boiling down to “move on”, “slow” and “fast”. Certain acts will change your maid’s attribute points, and at some point, more rooms become available, more acts are unlocked (SM actions in the dungeon, for instance).

Before you try to run the game – Rift mode or otherwise – you’ll need to set your system locale to Japanese. In game, you can fly around with WASD, rotate with QE, as well as the standard head tracking and mouselook.

The menus can be quite difficult to read off to the side, so I would suggest getting a feel for the game without the Rift, first.

If you appreciate the anime style, you’ll love this game – Custom Maid 3D Oculus Rift is the most polished hentai sex experience available, and far better than any of the current western releases with their goofy looking 10-polygon characters. Which makes it all the more sad that the company behind it – Illusion.jp – wants absolute nothing to do with English speaking countries.

How to Watch 3D VR Porn on Your Oculus Rift: The Complete Guide

The guide below is now outdated. I recommend you start using the free Deo VR player. Just download, install and start using it, I promise this player is the most easy and intuitive to use of all players. Forget about Whrirlighyglybla or whatever the weird name is.

Take your porn viewing to the next level by watching in immersive VR using an Oculus Rift. Today we look at how to play 3D porn through the Rift, using VR Player (Windows only). VR Player takes an input video and distorts it correctly for the Oculus Rift, as well as adding in head tracking – though this can be disabled for fixed Point of View (POV) videos if you’d rather go with the flow.

You can’t magically turn regular 2D porn in 3D porn, so you’ll need to source it from somewhere like 3DXStar – their “in your face” POV series would be perfect. If you’re inclined towards torrenting things, you might be able to find them and many more on your favourite torrent site, tagged “SBS“.

Setup

Download VRPlayer and VLC – the latest versions of each are fine, you don’t need to version match anything for this to work. You’ll also need the Microsoft .Net v4 libraries, but these should be installed under Windows Update. Once everything is installed, launch VR Player begin by setting your plugin path to VLC correctly – the defaults were wrong for me, so the app kept crashing when trying to open a video. If you don’t see the menu on your VR Player interface, just click once to make it appear, and go to the Tools -> Plugins menu option.

On a standard 32-bit version of Windows, the correct path for both will be C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC

Next, take a look at the Media menu, which deals with how to handle the input file. The first option – Format – is the type of 3D file you have, most likely side-by-side. If you wanted to just view regular non-3D porn, you would set this to none.

The second option – Projection – is how the video is warped to be viewed in the virtual Rift environment. Plane is like having a large cinema screen in front of you, and I’ve found it’s the best for porn viewing. Unless you have a file that’s specifically been made using a 360 degree camera system or other non-standard setup, stay away from the other options.

Set Effect to none.

Next are the device options for how to output. Since we’re using the Rift, these won’t change, set as follow:

Layout should be Side by Side
Distortion is Barrel
Tracker is Oculus Rift. You can set this to none if you’d rather not track head movements.

All done!

Go to File -> Open File -> With VLC and select your video, then unzip and relax. To zoom in and out (or technically, increase and decrease the field of view), press O and P.

Finally, remember that when immersed with your Rift and a pair of headphones, you probably won’t hear your mother coming up the stairs or your sister opening the door. We don’t want any nasty embarrassments, so please lock your door or set up an elaborate alarm system in the hallway.

It’s Happening: Oculus Rift + Tenga + Novint Falcon

Oh, Japan. We’ve already seen a penis controller that measures your thrust to change the speed on-screen animation. From the November 2013 Oculus Game Japan in Tokyo, team resentment (a 4 man team, one of whom works for Illusion.jp) stuck a Tenga on the end of a Novint Falcon – which combined with an Oculus Rift for the visual feedback, makes an entirely automated virtual masturbator.

Fun fact of the day: Japanese are huge fans of onomatopoeia, where words are made to sound like the action they describe. “Shiko shiko” is the sound of a guy masturbating.

The system is unique for its use of a Novint Falcon, an ageing 3D haptic controller that’s seeing a resurgence in interest thanks to the new VR revolution.

However, it looks like it’s been reverse engineered since it wouldn’t normally be used to move on it’s own – as a controller, it offers force feedback to the user so they can feel their way around 3d objects. To be honest, it’s not the best makeshift thrusting machine. They also demonstrated the device being used in a more traditional controller setup, where the user thrusts and a certain amount of realistic resistance is felt.

Apparently, this isn’t the first time the Falcon has been made to thrust on its own, as this video from 2007 shows… Warning: making your Falcon do this is a sure fire way to break it.

Also featured at the game jam was the use of a model posing device – QuMarion – to change the sexual position an the in-game character.

Taking Realistic VR Porn Up a Notch: Infinite Realities

Infinite Realities are UK leaders in 3D face and body scans – using a system of up 115 DSLR cameras and off-the-shelf photo-stitching software from AgiSoft for amazing levels of detail. They’ve created a set of ultra-realistic 3D human models for Unity; the potential for realistic VR Porn experiences is obvious. While Japan will continue to produce stylised anime games in the jump to VR/3D, Western markets have always demanded greater levels of realism. The latest demo, with modifications from community developer Teddy – creator of the HydraDeck demo, now famous for demonstrating positional tracking with a body-mounted Hydra controller – is now available to download.

As anyone familiar with robotics will know, there’s a point called “uncanny valley” in which too much realism is just creepy. It’s a point just before “perfectly convincing” where users will actually prefer a much less convincing robot. In other words, if the human element isn’t isn’t absolutely perfect, we would rather interact with something that’s obviously a robot. It’s tough to say where Infinite Realities fall into this with some movement and a practical application. Visually, as a 3D model, they do look convincing perfect – but of course, visuals alone are only half the battle. Luckily, 3D motion capture is well established, so we should be able to judge that aspect soon. They’re also developing their own “4D” scanning, which capture motion at the same time. It’s incredible stuff, and sure to be the future of all gaming, not just porn.
