VR Blowjob Linked to Sex Toy: It’s a Fucking Masterpiece

Reddit user webvrnsfw (we think there’s a possibility that might be a pseudonym) coded up this superb demo linking together a three.js web-based VR demo with a procedural blowjob (a simple since wave, apparently) and the Kiiroo Onyx masturbator, thanks to their open API. If you don’t have the slightest clue what I just said: it’s a VR sex demo that runs in your browser, and creates a fluid animated VR blowjob from math. The onscreen action can be linked up to your real life masturbator sleeve, for that ultimate immersive feeling.

For something that was apparently “throw together quickly”, I’m pretty impressed. The character models are from makehuman.org.

Check the video below to see this fucking masterpiece in action, or try the demo for yourself. You’ll need to download a special version of Chromium and enable the experimental WebVR mode, but if you have an Onyx, I think you’ll absolutely be impressed.

Reviews of the Kiiroo Onyx haven’t been entirely positive so far, but I’ll withhold judgement having never had the chance to try one.

Stupid Patent Troll Threatens Your Chance at Robot Sex

Were you looking forward to the robot sex revolution? I’ve got some bad news: a nasty patent troll is on the prowl. The patent in question is US6368268B1 – aka, sex toy connected to a computer network. It’s a wide reaching patent that pretty much covers any sex toy that connects to a computer, and it’s absolutely ludicrous. The full patent title is “Method and Device for Interactive Virtual Control of Sexual Aids Using Digital Computer Networks”, now owned by Tzu Technologies.

The patent was previously owned by HASSEX Inc, and was in fact licensed to a number of sex toy manufacturers such as Kiiroo and makers of the Shockspot. Having changed hands, the new owners of the patent are going after companies who previously failed to licence the nearly 20 year old patent.

The trolling doesn’t end with the absurd generality of the patent claimed though: they also sued Kickstarter, for enabling another company to raise funds for their remote hand holding product.

Sex Toys That Connect to VR Porn: That’s a Thing, Now

Lovense began life as an IndieGogo campaign, though failed to gather their goal funding of $50,000, instead receiving just half. Undeterred, they’ve finally released the first two of what will hopefully be many products: Max, a male masturbator; and Nora, a vibrator.

Of special interest to us though is Max and Nora’s ability to sync with Virtual Real Porn movies. Max has special air pockets on the side that contract with the speed of the actress, while Nora’s rotation speed does the same. Both have vibrations linked to body contact.

Lovense’s devices not only connect to special porn tracks, but also to each other: a form of teledildonics. Designed for long distance relationships, each device is equipped with sensors and a BlueTooth connection so that sensations can be synchronized. Sessions can then be recorded and played back later.

Of course, it can only go so far. We’re intrigued by the air pump contractions on Max, but vibrating toys are so boring: what we’d really like to see is a machine that actually mimics the trusts.

Lovense isn’t the first company to tackle teledildonics on a commercial scale either: RealTouch tried, with a disturbingly terrifying masturbator that could also be linked to special porn tracks, but were forced to stop selling the device at the start of 2014 due to increased manufacturing and licensing costs.

Here’s hoping Lovense doesn’t suffer the same fate. Kiiroo offers a similar pair of devices, though seems to be aimed only at male pleasure given that it’s a one-way communication from the dildo to the masturbator. The Kiiroo device does however go further by using a set of contracting rings, essentially making it a hands-off operation for the guy; as well as linking up with a vast library of (Non-VR) porn videos.

Preliminary reviews of the Lovense products haven’t been so great – with users complaining of connectivity woes and far-too-large penises that can’t possibly fit into the small hole of the Max device – but we’ve reached out to see if we can get our hands on them to judge for ourselves.

For now, it looks like the world of good quality teledildonics is forever just around the corner.

The Facebook of Teledildonics: Frixion.me

Less than a week after the Novint Falcon went viral for it’s alternative use as a virtual sex toy, Frixion.me has popped onto the radar – readying themselves to provide a real, working implementation and teledildonics API. Not only will they build the right attachments, they’re also hoping you’ll interface with your remote or even virtual partner through the Frixion.me web API. You can head over there now and sign up for beta access when it opens next year.

The hardware isn’t new, though there are plans to interface with other current and future sex toys with a simple interface. Of note is the inclusion of one-to-many broadcast system; as well as being used for one-on-one intimate remote connections between members of the social network, you could in theory be a part of a more communal synchronised session, with many participants experiencing the same sensations being played out by one central character.

Beyond the basic implementation of virtual and remote sex, you can imagine an extreme cyberpunk vision of the future: a teen heartthrob takes centre stage, thrusting in time to music as a million fans worldwide are simultaneously on the receiving end of his virtual motions. A One Direction virtual sex session, anyone?

I remain sceptical though – while their Twitter account has been active for quite some time, the video popped up a few days after the world went mad for the the first unofficial use of the Novint Falcon, and I’m fairly certain the website was thrown together overnight. It’s quite possible they’re just trying to ride the wave of popularity. Their Angel List pitch claims to have:

Fully patented, licensed, and unique to FriXion; our most advanced peripherals use real-time bidirectional force feedback telemetry, and can be configured for any gender or orientation.

The only thing we’ve seen resembling “real-time bidirectional force feedback” is the Novint peripheral, which is neither unique nor patented to Frixion; their video makes no reference to it either, so it does come across as trying to pass the technology off as their own. I would love to be wrong on this, though.

Remote Internet Controlled Vibrator

Vibease – a wearable smart remote internet control vibrator – has already more than quadrupled it’s rather modest Indiegogo funding goal of $15k. The device is one of the first of a new breed of internet connected sex toys that allows both remote play with a partner anywhere in the world, as well as a Bluetooth connection for smartphone “experiences”.

It’s not like Vibease is the first remote controlled vibrator ever, but it’s difficult to find anything that works on the other side of the room – let alone the other side of the world. Vibease aims to empower those long distance relationships. Lending her name to promote the project is Hermione Way, star of Bravo’s Start-Ups: Silicon Valley reality TV show, herself in a long-distance relationship.

Vibease’s custom mobile app provides remote control and messaging functionality, as well as “enhanced erotic stories” available to download (some premium, others created by users). As these stories are read aloud, a linked Vibease springs to life, reacting differently at specific parts of the story. It’s easy to how how the device could also be tied nicely into erotic Rift experiences – here’s hoping Vibease publish an open API, though according to the creators there are no plans in place for one currently.

It’s an interesting idea, essentially taking the process of fantasy creation out of the head of the user and packaging it up for sale, but I can also see it being a little frustrating if you’d tied to the pace of a specific story – luckily there is manual mode.
