For that, he’s launched a Patreon campaign with the minimum donation of $1/month getting you access to the newest version, and other perks such as a listing in the credits or even in-game advertising if you decided to support more.
The latest version (0.12) adds some pretty incredible new features – such as customizing your girl in every possible way (big ass? big tits? pregnant? check) – as well as adding more positions and a free camera mode.
If you’re not familiar, Patreon is like Kickstarter but with recurring payments – and in the same way, project creators can create funding stretch once they reach $X/month. It’s proven to work – Tom Merrit’s daily tech news show is currently hitting just under $15k/month, but there’s only so much cash consumers are willing to part with, especially when it’s a recurring payment.
Should you pay for your VR porn? Of course you should: apart from the fact that all he’s asking for is a minimum $1/month, it’s only through efforts like this that we’ll ever get anything beyond single room amateur MMD demos (don’t get me wrong, they have their place too).
